Performance upgrade with a German design touch
Ferrari F430... by Hamann

Hamann F430: Italian language with a German performance accent.

Take Italian style and exuberance, add a firm Teutonic touch... and you end up well with the best of both worlds: a hot Ferrari F430 with a German feel.

In other words, that's what the Hamann F430 is about. The engineers of sports-car specialist Hamann designed a comprehensive aerodynamics package for the Ferrari F430, taking up elements from motorsports and simultaneously presenting pure... understatement. A typical German expression of sports elegance.

Wide side sills for a broader look and a more dominant road holding.

Design - If understatement was a key element in the development of the Hamann F430, optimizing weight and performance was a no less decisive factor. The innovatively designed front spoiler gives the Hamann F430 a striking and individual face and minimizes the lift force at the front axle.

Wide side sills impart a broader appearance to the Italian car and also a more dominant road holding, underscoring the dynamic line of the basic model.

Front spoiler: striking face and minimal lift force at the front axle.

At the back, the eye will immediately spot the newly designed rear diffuser, while the rear spoiler channels a higher downforce on the rear axle, pushing the driven wheels more "passionately" into the tarmac.

Performance - The Hamann aerodynamics components do not only mean an optical upgrading. They come with a significant increase in driving performance. That's why all add-on parts are optionally available in carbon-kevlar or fiberglass version, making the Hamann Ferrari F430 even more powerful as a road-racing car, more sensational as a dream one.

Newly designed rear diffuser.

Because performance holds one of the key roles in motorsports, the Hamann engineers developed a complete high-performance sports exhaust system including a high-performance collector and sports catalysts. The result of this large-scale modification is an increase of 48 hp with a correspondingly positive effect on the car's performance.

The four-branch sports rear mufflers, specially designed by Hamann, release a powerful sound reminiscent of the background noise at a racetrack. The Laupheim company optionally offers a second tailpipe version with two tailpipes per side including throttle control.

Effective from March 2006, Hamann will offer the Sport Kit 620, which consists of two sport superchargers with separate oil-circuit, two intercoolers, an oil cooler, a reinforced v-ripped belt and a modification of the Motronic engine management system.

The rear spoiler (top) channels a higher downforce on the rear axle. The diffuser (middle) sucks lower air to push the car bottom closer to the road. Two tailpipes per side (bottom), designed by Hamann.

From there, all hell breaks loose! Charged with a maximum boost-pressure of 0.35 bar, the V8 produces 620 hp at 6870 rpm with a potent 630 Nm at 5340 rpm.

More dynamic pleasures can be expected from the specially designed coil suspension. The Hamann suspension can be adjusted in height as well as in rebound and compression, leading the F430 to react to steering changes with more agility and precision.

The Hamann Ferrari F430 is bridled by a sports brake system at the front axle, which has been adapted correspondingly to its performance. The brake system guarantees exact deceleration and permanent control of the racy Italian car.

Down to the rims, the multi-piece PG3 comes in classic five-spoke design, giving the Hamann Ferrari F430 an even more powerful impression, allowing a generous display of the brake system.

The PG3 is available in:
- Front: 9x19-inch dimension with tires size 255/30ZR19,
- Rear: 11,5x19-inch dimension with tires size 295/30ZR19 or 13x19-inch dimension with tires size 355/25ZR19 at the rear axle.

Alternatively, another multi-piece rim is available with the forged ANNIVERSARY II wheels. Its fine spokes clearly show the sporty character of the Swabian F430 and allow a good look at the brake system.

Three wheel design options (see dimensions in opposite column).

The ANNIVERSARY II is available for the Hamann Ferrari F430 in:
- Front: 9x19-inch dimension with tires size 255/30ZR19,
- Rear: 12,5x19-inch dimension with tires size 355/25ZR19,

as well as:
- Front: 8,5x20-inch dimension with tires 235/30ZR20,
- Rear: 12,5x20-inch dimension with tires size 325/25ZR20.

Another choice comes with the brand new Hamann alloy three-piece, forged wheel EDITION RACE in 20 inch. It is available in:
- Front: 8,5 x 20 for the front axle,
- Rear: 12,75 x 20.

In its biggest version, the 12,75J x 20, one of these ultra lightweight-rims only weighs 13.9 kg!

The interior of the Hamann Ferrari F430 combines both worlds of sports and luxury. An exclusive full leather interior in all colors as well as a high-quality set of mats give an elegant impression, all with racing seats and sills exuding genuine motorsports feel.

To sum it up, the Hamann Ferrari F430 is nothing but a pure-blooded racing car with road licensing and... seductive looks.
