Taking on the challenge of individualising the latest BMW 3 Series E90, German tuning specialist company "Breyton Design" from Stockach brought to the premium mid-size sedan (D-segment, upper medium category) not only a more distinguished look, but a new hormonal balance too.

At the heart of this tuning is the performance enhanced variant model series 3.32. Basically, you can turbocharge or supercharge an engine, but to get the most noble power, free from any additional flavor, nothing is like cubic capacity expansion. In this case, the 2996cc, inline 6-cylindre engine capacity of the BMW 330i grows to 3.2-litre.

Breyton aerodynamic body-styling kit ends with a discreet rear spoiler.

Following the conversion, the Bavarian luxury model generates no less than 306 bhp (258hp /6600rpm in the BMW 330i), with mechanical engine components such as the crankshaft, pistons and con rod all modified accordingly and the control unit electronically adapted.

To complete the picture, a torque of 347 Nm lurks just waiting under the right foot (300 Nm/2500rpm in the BMW 330i), with a top speed of 281 km/h (electronically limited to 250km/h in the 330i).

The engine modification can only be done at Breyton facilities in Germany. It costs 12,000 Euros (German market prices) for the whole engine conversion: parts, labour, electronic optimisation of the ECU...

The sheer power of the model series 3.32 is immediately apparent on first sight, from the aerodynamic body-styling kit, which comprises a front spoiler lip that is harmoniously integrated into the basic design and side skirts which guarantee the vehicle a lower look, to the dynamising yet discreet rear spoiler. All blend together, giving the Breyton 3 Series a sportier look.

Large wheels are also a sure means of lending an automobile a sportier and more dynamic appearance. In this case, Breyton fits its elegant, single-piece proprietary wheel rim “Spirit” in a composite look and “Vision II” – both as 20-inch versions. They are fitted at the front in the dimension 8.5x20 with 235/30 ZR 20-inch tires and at the rear in 10.5x20 with 285/25 ZR 20-inch “rollers”. In doing so, Breyton also ensures that its performance-enhanced 3 Series BMW has the appropriate tyre grip.

The aerodynamic kit (front, side sills and small spoiler) costs 800 Euros, or 1200 Euros with lacquering (German market prices).

Despite its well deserved "Ultimate Driving Machine" motto, a BMW still has potential for improvement, even in its driving dynamics. That's how a height-adjustable (from 30 to 50 mm) complete suspension kit (Breyton BS2) guarantees this racy 3 Series BMW a customisable and even more outstanding road holding.

The sporty theme continues on the inside, where a sports steering wheel made of carbon fiber and a carbon fiber interior kit (7-piece), along with a range of aluminium accessories combine to create an exclusively sporty impression.

Finally, for both eyes and ears, a rear muffler made from corrosion-resistant stainless steel with a flat-oval tailpipe gives the Breyton 3 Series BMW the appropriate sound to match its new... hormonal balance.
