Parquet for cars... why not?

Wood should not be limited to dashboard and door trim. It can be tailored for the floor.

Veneer flooring placed on the existing carpet and can be removed easily if required.

The beauty of the wood, with easy fitting: on the original carpet.

Veneer flooring for cars! Why not?

But why wasn't it developed before, such a tempting alternative to the usual wall-to-wall carpet?

Prototypes with wooden floor were presented by designers from the larger carmakers here and there through the last three years (e.g. Mercedes, Jaguar, Ford, Rolls-Royce...). But they never went live although cars are getting more and more luxurious, visibility of the floor in cars is high and carpets in current cars can be perceived old fashioned... at least when compared to such new alternatives.

On the other side, wooden dashboards are even standard in middle class cars and parquet is number one floor in living rooms around the world. And what is more attractive than a car floor which can be cleaned easily within seconds?

Technical problems are now solved - a new patent-protected invention prevents moisture expansion and opens the door for a new era of customised cars with one of the most noble materials in the world: wood.

The Austrian manufacture Koenigseder offers hand-tailored solutions for all types of cars from 1000 Euro/package. Individual design requirements can be fulfilled, and, most importantly, the veneer flooring is placed on the existing carpet and can be removed easily if required.

Market-specific prices, shipping costs and other information - or inquiries - about Koenigseder can be obtained from koenigseder.at or auto-parkett.com website.
